At Beckering
Advisor Incorporated, we oversee the construction of your
project with regard to cost, schedule, and quality. But equally
important, we act as your advocate throughout the process to insure
you get the most from your investment. To achieve this goal, we
use a professional team-based approach. We work with decision makers,
the architect, and related consultants from the early stage of design
through planning and construction, all the way to punch list, occupancy,
and beyond to insure quality work and to maximize your investment.
Here's how the process works.

By working with the client and the architect in
the early phases of project design, we can provide valuable input
about construction that allows the achievement of functional and
aesthetic goals of the design, while keeping costs in line. We want
to help you create a building you and your architect will be proud
of. The expertise we bring to the team may lead to the consideration
of alternative materials or construction methods that reduce costs
without compromise. We call this value engineering, and it can help
you get more of the special items that might otherwise fall victim
to budget constraints.

When the project involves the
renovation of occupied space. Beckering assigns a supervisor experienced
in the special considerations involved in balancing construction
and ongoing owner activities. The jobsite superintendent works with
the project manager, owner representative, and key staff members
to develop a critical path plan which includes safety, moving requirements,
and occupancy. After the plan is completed, the superintendent regularly
meets with the owner to provide progress updates and schedule upcoming
events such as utility interruptions or traffic flow changes.

After the project is completed
and occupied, there is usually an adjustment period of two to three
months during which Beckering Advisor Incorporated
can keep an assistant supervisor on site or readily available at
no charge.
